FAQs about Metal Bellows Seals for High Temperature Pumps
Q: Can I use this as the lower seal?
A: We do not recommend it for sewage. Ceramic is brittle and can crack if a rock hits the impeller. Always use Tungsten Carbide or SiC for the lower (process-side) seal.
