
• Shaft Protection: The internal rubber sleeve acts as a protective barrier between the metal drive components and the pump shaft, completely eliminating fretting corrosion.
• Balanced Geometry: The seal faces are hydraulically balanced to handle the high pressures (up to 25 bar) typical of multistage booster systems without overheating.
• Axial Flexibility: The high elasticity of the rubber bellow compensates for the significant shaft runout and deflection often experienced by submersible pumps during "snoring" (running dry) operation.
• Dual Seal capability: Can be used as the lower seal (process side) or upper seal (oil chamber side) depending on material configuration.

• Torque Transmission: The coil spring grabs the shaft (interference fit) to drive the seal, ensuring positive rotation without slipping.
• Bi-Directional: Unlike some spring seals, the friction drive design allows this seal to operate in either direction of shaft rotation.
• Heat-Treated Faces: We use Sintered Silicon Carbide faces which have superior thermal conductivity, pulling heat away from the sensitive O-rings to extend their life.
• Anti-Extrusion Design: Includes backup rings or specially designed grooves to prevent the O-ring from extruding under high pressure when the rubber softens at heat.
• Non-Clogging: The open coil spring design resists clogging, making it suitable for both clean sanitary fluids and slightly turbid domestic water.
• Shaft Protection: The rubber bellow covers the shaft, protecting it from corrosion and eliminating the need for shaft sleeves in smaller pumps.
• Universal Gland: The gland plate is designed with universal slots to fit a wide variety of ANSI and DIN pump bolt circles.
• Sleeve Protection: Both single and double versions mount on a shaft sleeve, ensuring the rubber components never wear grooves into the pump shaft.
