Cartridge type mechanical seals for industrial pumps and agitators
Cartridge type mechanical seals are pre-assembled, factory-tested sealing solutions engineered for reliable performance in industrial pumps, mixers and agitators. The cartridge design integrates the rotating face, stationary seat, springs, gland plate, sleeve and secondary seals into a single unit, eliminating field assembly errors and reducing installation time to minutes.
These seals are available in single and double acting configurations, with hydraulically balanced faces to handle pressure fluctuations, thermal cycling and shaft deflection common in demanding process duty. They are suitable for water, chemicals, hydrocarbons, food-grade media, mild slurries, paper stock and wastewater applications.
