A: No, these are interference-fit seals. They are pressed into the seal chamber using a lubricant (oil/water). Glue can damage the rubber and cause misalignment.

The conical, debris-shedding outer profile of our rubber bellows seal throws solids off by centrifugal action, keeps the lapped faces clean, and pairs with a bonded ceramic/SiC stationary seat to hold leak-free separation between sewage and the oil chamber at ≤0.5 MPa and –20 to 120°C.
