Flygt bellow shaft seals (rubber bellows seals) are interference-fit, plug-in / Griploc-style OEM-interchangeable replacements for Flygt 2000 and 3000 series submersible wastewater pumps—including 2066, 2102, 3068, 3085, 3102 and 3127. Its smooth, ragging-resistant outer profile sheds stringy sewage solids, while the flexible bellows absorbs shaft runout, axial play and thermal growth common in portable and fixed submersible duty. Paired with a bonded alumina ceramic or tungsten carbide stationary seat and carbon graphite rotating face, the seal holds leak-free separation between raw sewage and the oil chamber.
Key Features
• Submersible Workhorse: A direct aftermarket replacement for the classic Flygt "Plug-in" rubber bellow seals used in 2000 and 3000 series submersible wastewater pumps.
• Debris Shedding Profile: The smooth, flexible rubber bellow design naturally sheds rags, fibers, and solids, preventing them from wrapping around the seal (ragging).
• Positive Friction Drive: The rubber bellow grips the shaft or sleeve to drive the rotary face, eliminating the need for drive pins that can corrode or shear in heavy sludge.
• Axial Flexibility: The high elasticity of the rubber bellow compensates for the significant shaft runout and deflection often experienced by submersible pumps during "snoring" (running dry) operation.
• Dual Seal capability: Can be used as the lower seal (process side) or upper seal (oil chamber side) depending on material configuration.
Workshop
This workshop is equipped with professional processing equipment and integrated with standardized material warehousing management, enabling a one-stop production process from precision machining to finished product delivery. It ensures part machining accuracy and production efficiency, meeting various high-specification manufacturing requirements.

Product Research, Development and Testing
Our Product R&D and Testing focuses on optimizing seal performance through advanced simulation and material analysis. All rubber bellows seals undergo rigorous trials, including thermal cycling and pressure tests, to ensure durability, minimal leakage, and long service life in demanding industrial environments.

Case Study
Municipal Lift Station: A sewage lift station faced frequent clogs. We replaced the seals with these Rubber Bellows Seals. The smooth rubber profile prevented hair and wipes from accumulating, keeping the seal faces clean and functional.
Testimonials
A reliable fix for our older Flygt fleet. The rubber quality is excellent and doesn't swell in our industrial waste mix.

FAQs
Q: Is glue required for installation?
A: No, these are interference-fit seals. They are pressed into the seal chamber using a lubricant (oil/water). Glue can damage the rubber and cause misalignment.
Q: Which Flygt pumps do rubber bellow shaft seals replace, and how are they installed?
A: They are direct aftermarket swaps for the classic Flygt "Plug-in" or "Griploc" rubber bellow seals used on 2000 and 3000 series submersible wastewater pumps—including 2066, 2102, 3068, 3085, 3102 and 3127, in shaft sizes 20/25/30/35/40/45/50/55/60/65 mm.
Q: Why is a smooth rubber bellow better than a multi-spring seal for Flygt sewage duty?
A: Stringy wipes, hair and rag fibres wrap around multi-spring seals and hold the faces open—classic ragging. The conical, debris-shedding outer profile of our rubber bellows seal throws solids off by centrifugal action, keeps the lapped faces clean, and pairs with a bonded ceramic/SiC stationary seat to hold leak-free separation between sewage and the oil chamber at ≤0.5 MPa and –20 to 120°C.
