• Hydraulically Balanced: The stepped shaft/sleeve design of this balanced mechanical seal reduces the closing force on the seal faces, allowing operation at higher pressures (up to 50 bar) common in hydrocarbon pumping, a critical feature for ensuring the reliability of the O ring mechanical seal in such demanding conditions.

• API 682 Type A Equivalent: This balanced mechanical seal is designed to meet the requirements of API 682 Type A pusher seals, making it an ideal and reliable O ring mechanical seal for refinery and other high-pressure hydrocarbon services.

• Low Heat Generation: The balanced geometry of this balanced mechanical seal minimizes friction, preventing the vaporization (flashing) of volatile hydrocarbons like propane or butane, thereby protecting the integrity and function of the O ring mechanical seal.
