Q: At what temperature should I switch from FKM to FFKM?
A: Standard FKM (Viton®) is generally good up to 200°C. Above that, or if steam is present, we recommend FFKM (Perfluoroelastomer) or AFLAS® to prevent chemical degradation and seal failure.
