The PTFE Wedge single acting mechanical seal for Kewpump from NINGBO MIAOYU is a single-acting, non-balanced wedge seal engineered as a drop-in replacement for Kewpump KS, KA and KCM series chemical process pumps, requiring no housing modification.
The gland flange is pre-aligned with Kewpump flush-port geometry for effective face cooling, and face sets are offered in Carbon / SiC / Tungsten Carbide versus Ceramic / SiC / TC with stainless-steel springs.

Q: Which Kewpump models does this fit?
A: It fits most standard chemical process pumps from Kewpump, including the KS (ISO 2858) and KCM series. Please confirm the shaft size.
Q: Why use a PTFE wedge instead of an O-ring secondary seal on Kewpump chemical duty?
A: The PTFE wedge resists aggressive acids, alkalis, solvents and oleochemical media (e.g. palm oil condensate) where NBR/EPDM/FKM O-rings would swell or degrade. Combined with the thick-wire coil spring that powers through viscous fluids, it gives longer MTBR in corrosive Kewpump services without clogging.
Q: What are the operating limits and face options for Model 109?
A: Rated –30 °C to 200 °C, ≤1.7 MPa, ≤25 m/s. Rotating and stationary faces are available in Carbon, Silicon Carbide or Tungsten Carbide versus Ceramic, SiC or TC, with 316SS springs. Custom shaft sizes and OEM/ODM branding are supported from Miaoyu’s Ningbo CNC workshop with thermal-cycle and pressure testing.
